Resting on HIS WORD
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
Read and reflect on God’s Word, test your knowledge, deepen your understanding and enjoy learning through engaging Bible quizzes and challenges.
This space is not about having all the answers. As someone who is continually learning, I am always amazed at how a single verse can speak in different ways—bringing fresh insight, encouragement, and revelation each time it is read.
The Bible is living and personal, and through it, God speaks to each of us in ways that are unique to our journey. My hope is that as you explore this page, you will be encouraged to grow, reflect, and discover the richness of His Word for yourself.

Praying Through Scripture
Praying through Scripture is one of the most powerful ways to deepen your relationship with God, to become comfortable and personal with Jesus, speaking to Him openly and honestly, just as you are.
It simply means turning God’s Word into a personal prayer—speaking it back to Him, letting it shape your thoughts, your heart, and your life.
When we pray using Scripture, we are not only expressing our thoughts, but also declaring His Word over our lives and into every situation. His promises become the foundation of our prayers—guiding us, strengthening us, and drawing us closer to Him.
Prayer doesn’t have to be complicated or tedious. It’s simply about coming into a place of comfort and talking to Him—just as you would with someone you trust deeply, someone you can run to for guidance, comfort, and help.
Scripture:
Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.”
Praying Through This Scripture
Make it personal:
Name specific situations where you need to trust Him (finances, health, family, decisions).
Be specific:
Career, relationships, daily choices—invite God into everything, not just spiritual areas.
moment of surrender:
Let go of control, overthinking, or trying to “figure everything out.”
This builds faith:
You’re declaring confidence in God’s promise—even before you see the outcome.
Prayer:
Lord, You are my creator and Savior and I trust You with all my heart in this situation (Name specific situations)
I choose not to rely on my own understanding, but to seek Your wisdom in the choices that i am going to be making.
I submit every area of my life to You—my plans, my decisions, my future.
Your WORD says that You will guide me and lead me in every step I take today. I want Your will be done, not mine.
Even when the road seems unclear and I don’t see results I know and believe that You are in control and leading me through this situation.
I pray to the Father through Your Son Jesus in Your Spirit Amen.
